W12 Reflection: Social Media for SEO and Social Networking
What a week, this was packed with great information. We learned how to optimize using tips and tricks. The ones that stood out to me the most were from one of the videos we watched. The woman suggested the following to help increase our following, impressions, view, and clicks.
1. Know your ideal customer - this can be done by asking your current clients/customers where they spend the most time online, and which platform the prefer. This is important to know in order to target more individuals.
2. Do your research on your competition. Read the comments on your and their posts, this can be very telling about what you are up against, and what you could incorporate to keep up.
3. Finding your dream clients, which seems to be the biggest challenge. Post polls or surveys, so you can find out who is really on board with what you have to offer. This is an inexpensive way to try and score some perfect candidates for your content.
I also liked the advice to figure out your goals, create a tactical plan, and organize your content into content buckets.
Also great advice given that your content must be Segmented, Searchable, Snackable, and Shareable.
